Ayush Tiwari/Kanpur: Young athlete Komal Talwar ran from Ghaziabad to Ayodhya. Komal started the race from Ghaziabad on July 12 and reached Ayodhya on July 23. Komal reached the National Sugar Institute in Kanpur, where she was welcomed. After resting here for a while, Komal reached Ayodhya on July 23 via Unnao Lucknow. Komal will also enter a record in the Guinness Book by running from Sri Lanka to Ayodhya in October.

While talking to the media, Komal said that I had decided to do an adventure race to get a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Accordingly, I started preparing for it under the supervision of my coach Rajendra Yadav. He further said, when the preparations were going on, I started getting dreams of Lord Ram and Ramjanmabhoomi. It seemed that this place was calling me and hence I decided to run from Noida to Ayodhya.

Girls are not lagging behind in any field
Komal’s coach Rajendra Yadav said that Komal is going to inspire many people with her exemplary performance. She is going to prove that girls are not behind in any field and can face any challenge. Komal, who reached Kanpur, was welcomed by NSI Director Dr. Narendra Mohan. During this, he said that Komal alias Tej is doing graduation in physical education and has proved her mental and physical strength while facing hot and humid conditions.

Lord Rama stayed here for some time
Rajendra Yadav further said, “We want her to spread the message of brotherhood and harmony throughout the race. In the second phase, she will travel from Sri Lanka, where Lord Rama lived for some time, to Ayodhya in October this year, covering a distance of about 5000 kms.” The director said, “She is going to be our brand ambassador and the institute will provide all possible help to her for such events in future as well.”
