Motihari. Bihar team has been announced for Santosh Trophy football to be held in Kerala. Nishant Raj, a player of East Champaran Sports Club, has been selected in Bihar team. There is an atmosphere of happiness in Nishant’s family on getting the information of him being selected in Bihar team. Nishant has left for Kerala with Bihar team. Here Bihar’s first match is to be played against Jammu and Kashmir on 26th December. Nishant along with his family and friends are hopeful that he will perform well in this tournament and on the basis of this he will be successful in making a place in the national team.

Let us tell you that Santosh Trophy is a very prestigious tournament in national football. This tournament will be held in Kerala from 26 December to 8 January 2023. Nishant Raj is a resident of Parsa Panchayat of Majhauliya block of West Champaran. Nishant’s father is currently the head of the Panchayat, but staying away from family politics, Nishant will now play in the Bihar team at the national level by working hard with Motihari Sports Club. The family members told that Nishant also studies BBA along with playing football. He is a good kicker and defender, who always keeps his grip strong on the football in the match.
