Actually, Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world. Hindu population is in majority in India and Nepal. However, in recent years, it is slowly increasing in Russia as well. Despite the majority of the population being Christian here, small temples have been built in some places in Russia, but they mainly function as community centers. In such a situation, now the demand for building a temple in the capital Moscow has started increasing.

According to a report published in India Today, before PM Modi’s visit to Russia, the Indian Business Alliance and the Indian National Cultural Center held a meeting to build a grand Hindu temple. Swami Kotwani, the president of this group, says, ‘This Hindu temple to be built in Moscow will not only become a center of unity and attraction for Indians, but will also become a symbol of strong relations between India and Russia.’
Earlier, on February 14 this year, PM Modi inaugurated the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This temple built by Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sansthan (BAPS) is very grand. Although this temple belongs to the Hindu religion, but people of Muslim, Jain and Buddhist religions also contributed a lot to it.

UAE President Sheikh Mohammed Zayed Al Nahyan donated the land for this Hindu temple spread over 27 acres of land. This temple is built on an area of 27 acres near Al Rahaba on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway, which has been built at a cost of about Rs 700 crore. The chief architect of this temple was Christian, while the manager of this project was from the Sikh community, the designer was Buddhist. The company that built this temple was a Parsi company, whose director was from the Jain community.
