French car manufacturer Citroen is having a tough time selling cars in India. The sales performance of the company’s budget cars as well as premium cars is going down a lot.
If we look at the figures, Citroen C5 Aircross did not get a single customer in May 2024. That is, its sales remained at 0 units. This is the company’s top-line premium SUV. This electric car sold the most
The best selling car in Citroen’s lineup was eC3 which is the electric model of the company’s C3. A total of 235 units of it were sold last month. Talking about other models, 155 units of C3 and 125 units of C3 Aircross were sold. In total, Citroen registered sales of 515 units of cars in May.

The price of Citroen C5 Aircross starts from Rs 36.91 lakh and goes up to Rs 37.67 lakh (ex-showroom). This car gets a 2.0 liter diesel engine which generates 177 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. Only 8 speed automatic transmission option is available with this car.
Talking about some special features of the car, it includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital driver display, cruise control, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control.
In terms of safety, it includes features like six airbags, driver drowsiness detection, electronic stability program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill assist, park assist, rear parking camera and blind-spot detection system.
