Kamala Harris clearly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the chaos in Gaza amid the Israel-Hamas war that now the time has come to finalize the ceasefire agreement.
Kamala Harris is currently the Vice President of America. According to a CNN report, she vowed to ‘not remain silent’ on Gaza suffering. She said that ‘Israel has the right to defend itself and how it does so matters. What has happened in Gaza in the last nine months is devastating.’ Harris told reporters after her meeting with Netanyahu in Washington.
Let us tell you that in the wake of the October 7 attacks, Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza has created bigger crises. About 2 million population of the Gaza Strip has been displaced and a large part of it has been turned into rubble. Kamala Harris said, pictures of dead children and desperate hungry people… seeking security, sometimes displaced for the second, third or fourth time. We cannot turn a blind eye to these tragedies. We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to suffering and I will not remain silent.
