The way has been cleared for the reinstatement of assistant professors in government medical colleges of Bihar. The Patna High Court has clarified its stand in this matter and dismissed all the petitions filed. The division bench of Chief Justice AP Shahi had reserved the decision after completing the hearing on the petitions filed in this case, which was pronounced on Tuesday.
In these petitions, the age limit for the post of Assistant Professor was challenged. The High Court has clarified in its order that no relief can be given in this matter. BPSC had invited applications for recruitment to 1717 vacant posts of Assistant Professor in these government medical colleges, and the result of the examination was prepared by taking the test.
This matter was challenged in Patna High Court, after which the High Court banned the publication of the result. After today’s decision of the High Court, BPSC will be able to declare the result of the examination for the recruitment of Assistant Professor. After that recruitment will be done on these posts.
