Ravi Payak/Bhilwara: Monsoon has arrived in Bhilwara district and continuous rain is continuing in the rural areas of the district including the city. Menal waterfall has started with heavy rain in Bijolia area of Bhilwara. Menal waterfall is a center of attraction for tourists. Every year a large number of tourists come here to visit. Dense black clouds covered the Bijolia area of Bhilwara district and after that there was heavy rain. People got relief from the rain. At the same time, due to heavy rain for more than half an hour, Menal waterfall has started flowing at its full speed.
People come from far away to see
Somewhere or the other, this Menal waterfall remains the first choice of place for people living in Bhilwara, Bundi and Kota. Everyone waits for the Menal waterfall to start throughout the year and tourists come here with their families for picnics. The beauty of the water falling from a height of about 150 feet in the Menal waterfall located on the Bhilwara Kota highway in Bijolia area in Bhilwara district is worth seeing. Tourists come here from far and wide to see this waterfall and the old temples built here.
PM has also mentioned Menal waterfall
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also mentioned Menal waterfall in Mann Ki Baat. Prime Minister Modi mentioned it in the sixth episode of Mann Ki Baat on 28 June 2015. He described it as a unique waterfall of Rajasthan. There are also temples of ancient art near the waterfall. A large number of tourists reach here to see them. Apart from Menal waterfall, there are also Bhadak, Seven Falls and Bhadkaya Mata Temple here.
Every year millions of tourists reach here
This is one of the main tourist destinations for 3 districts including Bhilwara. A large number of people reach here every year. On Hariyali Amavasya on August 4, there will be a crowd of tourists at Menal, Joganiya Mata, Jharia Mahadev and other tourist and religious places. A large number of people are expected to reach Menal to see the waterfall falling from a height of about 150 feet and the ancient temples.
