Trump hasn't won yet, but he has started targeting India, he didn't even spare China

New Delhi. Donald Trump is known in the world as a leader who is quite aggressive. He talks about China as well as Russia. Sometimes he calls North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un a friend, and sometimes he says that if he were the president, the Ukraine war would not have happened. But this time he targeted India. While addressing an election rally in Michigan, Trump not only lashed out at China but also targeted India.

Attacking China, Trump said, first China wants us to make something here and send it to them. So that they can impose 250% tariff on them. Then they will offer to set up their own plant. Then these companies go there. After this, Trump also targeted India. He said, India did the same with Harley Davidson. The Indian government imposed 200 percent tariff on Harley Davidson, due to which they could not sell their bikes there.

having to pay 200% tariff
Trump hasn’t won the election yet, but he has already started behaving like a president. In the election rally, Trump said, Harley Davidson chief met me. I was very disappointed to hear what he said. In 2018, his company launched bikes in India worth Rs 5 to 50 lakh. When I asked him how is his business in India, he said it is not going well. We have to pay 200% tariff. Why do they impose so much tax on us? In the end, they forced us to set up a plant.

Know the reality too
Let us tell you that Harley Davidson is a well-known bike company in the world. Its bikes are sold for lakhs of rupees. It is a huge craze among the rich. For years, the rich have been ordering bikes of this company from abroad. They spend lakhs of rupees on it. They also pay huge taxes to the government. Let us tell you that Trump first raised this issue in front of the US Congress in 2017. However, many times he has been giving different statements about it. Sometimes he says that my friend Modi has reduced the tax to 100 percent. And sometimes he says that we do not accept this. However, according to reports, when Trump was talking about imposing 100 percent export duty from India, the tax was 75 percent.
