North Korea’s media KCNA said that all the senior military officers including Colonel Ri Un-ryong and Lieutenant Commander Yu Kyong-song took this oath in the presence of Kim Jong Un. They warned to teach a lesson to America and South Korea. There are no diplomatic relations between North Korea and America. America wants that North Korea should not make nuclear weapons and if it has made anything, then it should be allowed to see it. Whereas Kim Jong Un is not ready to do this. These statements show that the relations between America and North Korea are not going to change now, no matter who is elected as the President.
70 year old dispute
Kim Jong Un alleges that America is trying to provoke war. It wants a nuclear war. If this happens, our supreme commander will attack the enemy without delay. They will be completely destroyed. This dispute is 70 years old. Then during the Korean War, North Korea signed a ceasefire agreement with America and China on 27 July 1953. This ended the war after three years. North Korea has celebrated it as “Victory Day”, whereas South Korea does not give any importance to this day.
Why is Kim Jong Un angry?
On Sunday, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Japan’s Defense Minister Minoru Kihara met their South Korean counterpart, Shin Won-sik, in Tokyo. In this, the three countries signed an agreement. The purpose of which was the use of Korean missile warning data and joint military exercises of the three countries. This has angered North Korea.
