New Delhi. An apartment in the housing complex built on the Pali Hill bungalow of late superstar actor Dilip Kumar has been sold for Rs 155 crore. A stamp duty of Rs 9.3 crore and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 has been levied on it. In this way, the price of the apartment has reached Rs 172 crore. Renovation of this bungalow of Dilip Kumar started in 2023.

Its renovation work is with Thane’s Asher Group. A 10-11 storey residential area has been built here and a museum has also been built in the memory of Dilip Kumar. Dilip Kumar’s bungalow was demolished in 2023. He bought this bungalow from Abdul Latif in 1953. However, Dilip Kumar moved to Saira Banu’s house after marrying her in 1966.

The bungalow was embroiled in controversies
This bungalow was also embroiled in some controversies. Dilip Kumar’s family had accused a real estate company of preparing fake documents for the bungalow in order to grab it. In 2017, his wife and former actress Saira Banu had said that the dispute was over and the keys to the bungalow were once again in their possession.

Who became the buyer in the new building
In place of the bungalow, the triplex consisting of 9th, 10th and 11th floors of the building has been bought by a company called Apco Infratech Private Limited. The company has spent Rs 1.62 lakh for every square feet of this apartment. In terms of per square feet, this is one of the most expensive deals in this area.
