Two liners of Purnea’s Tanishq robbery case arrested. Platinum gold and diamond rings were recovered. Arrested from Malda and Patna in West Bengal.

Purnia. The police has again made a big disclosure in the case of robbery at Tanishq jewellery showroom located in Line Bazar under Khazanchi Haat police station in Purnia, Bihar. Two criminals have been arrested with the diamond ring looted from Tanishq. Apart from the looted diamond ring with Tanishq label, two helmets, the bike used in the robbery, and a blood stained cloth and mask have been recovered from Saniul Sheikh, who was arrested from Kaliachak in West Bengal. It is being told that both the arrested criminals were working as liners and had helped the robbers escape.

SP Upendranath Verma has said that Saniul Sheikh was helping the criminals in guiding them. Purnia police has also arrested a criminal Kundan Kumar from Bidupur in Patna. SP said that Kundan’s brother Prince alias Chandan is lodged in Beur jail. Kundan had given money to these criminals on the instructions of Prince. Police is also searching for other criminals. At the same time, Purnia police will now take jewelry looter mafia Subodh Singh and Bittu Singh on remand and interrogate them.

Let us tell you that on 26th July at 12:15 pm, 7 criminals looted diamond and gold jewellery worth Rs. 3 crore 70 lakh from Tanishq showroom. In this case, on Wednesday also, four criminals were arrested by the police and sent to jail. Today again two criminals have been arrested. However, all the main criminals are still out of the police’s reach and the looted jewellery has not been recovered yet. However, ten teams of STF and police are continuously raiding and making efforts.
