According to Ajay Kumar, Vice President of Patliputra Sarafa Sangh, due to the reduction in custom duty, there was a huge decline in the prices of both gold and silver, but the increase in gold and silver has started again.

In the capital Patna bullion market on Saturday (August 3), the price of 22 carat gold has reached Rs 66,000 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 24 carat gold today is Rs 73,350 per 10 grams. Whereas, till now the price of 24 carat gold was running at Rs 72,700 per 10 grams. And the price of 22 carat gold was running at Rs 65,400 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of 18 carat gold today is Rs 55,650.
The rate of silver has not changed
Talking about silver, there has been no change in its price today as compared to yesterday. Hence, even today silver is being sold at the same rate as yesterday i.e. Rs 84,000 per kilogram. Whereas, before this the price of silver was Rs 81,500 per kilogram.
