NEET Paper Leak Case: The Supreme Court has given its final verdict in the NEET paper leak case. The Supreme Court rejected the demand to conduct the NEET exam again. It also said many things about NTA. The Supreme Court criticized the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) lax policy in the matter of paper leak, distribution of wrong question paper and giving marks for the wrong option of a physics question. It also gave many guidelines to NTA. The Supreme Court told NTA that special care needs to be taken in future exams.
What did the Supreme Court say?
In its decision, the Supreme Court gave several guidelines to NTA in which it was said that NTA should take measures to ensure the identity of the candidates appearing for the exam. Apart from this, SOP will have to be prepared for paper storage so that the exam paper is not leaked. The court said that NTA should take care in future that such negligence does not happen. It should avoid this. However, the court also said that our conclusion is that the paper leak is not systematic. The paper leak has not happened on a large scale, so we are rejecting the demand for re-examination of NEET.
