After becoming a father-in-law in real life, he has now become a grandfather as well and he believes that after becoming a grandfather, his life has completely changed. With this project, he talked about human emotions and told that his life has not been the same since Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter and his granddaughter came into this world. He revealed that he is waiting for Rhea to turn 16 soon, so that he can show her the film of his special someone.

The filmmaker said this in a conversation with India Today. He was asked which is the film that he wants to show to his granddaughter? After hearing this question, he neither took the name of any of his films nor that of Raha’s grandfather i.e. Rishi Kapoor. The surprising thing is that he did not even take the name of Ranbir Kapoor and his daughter Alia.

Mahesh Bhatt said that if you ask me, the film that I would want to show to Raha when she grows up, when she turns 16, is ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’. This is one of the most heart touching films in which Pooja Bhatt looked completely different from the world. Aamir Khan was the lead hero and he has no equal. He said that this is a film that connects with people’s hearts even today. The filmmaker further said that I think this will be the film that I will choose first for Raha.

The ‘Zakhm’ director also said that his focus as a filmmaker changed when he first became a father and then a grandfather. “I look at the human story in a different way, especially after becoming a grandfather. To be honest, I am still not over the wonder of my child and his amazing achievements and here motherhood has added another dimension. Alia is not only a wonderful actress but also a wonderful mother. It is a chemical change and Raha is like a gift from the sky,” he said. He said, “Now I have bonded with my granddaughter. It is very special. I have also started paying a little more attention to her than my daughter. I think children have the power to completely captivate you.”
