New Delhi. India has won three medals in this Olympics so far and all three came from shooting. On the sixth day of the Paris Olympics, Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale won the bronze medal and added the third medal to India’s kitty. He created history by winning this medal in the 50 meter rifle 3 position event. On this historic achievement, the Maharashtra government announced a prize money of Rs 1 crore to Swapnil.
Shooter Swapnil, who achieved a historic success for India in the Paris Olympics, has brought pride to the country. India was expecting a medal from him on the sixth day of the games and he did not disappoint the countrymen. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his happiness over Swapnil’s success and announced a reward for him. After Swapnil returns to India, the Maharashtra government will give him a reward amount of Rs 1 crore.
