A person from Mumbai ordered a mobile through e-commerce site Amazon Shopping App. He was shocked to see what he found after opening the box. He immediately reached the police station and registered an FIR.

Actually, what happened was that a person named Amar Chavan had ordered a high-end mobile phone online from his e-commerce app. The price of this mobile is Rs 54,999. Two days later when the order reached his home, he found tea cups instead of a mobile phone inside the box. This young man is a deputy engineer in Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) in Mumbai.

I was shocked as soon as I opened the parcel…
According to the police, on July 13, Amar had ordered a Techno Phantom V Fold mobile phone from Amazon. For which he had also paid Rs 54,999 online while booking the order. The parcel arrived two days later. When he opened the parcel, he found six tea cups. It was told in the complaint that he contacted Amazon, but did not get any positive response. Then the supplier firm associated with Amazon was also called, but to no avail.

Case filed against unknown people…
When no one helped him, the young man reached Mahim police station in Mumbai and gave his written complaint in this regard. According to the police, an FIR has been registered against Amazon and unknown officials of the retailer for alleged fraud and investigation has been started.
