Kaimur: The cases of brokerage, fraud and robbery in the name of marriage are not stopping. It is increasing continuously. The latest case has come to light from Kaimur district of Bihar. Where two Rajasthani youths were first called to Umapur village under Bhagwananpur police station area of ​​Kaimur district on the pretext of marriage. The thug also decorated the mandap in his own house. After this, with the chanting of mantras, both the boys got married to different girls. After this, when both the youths were taking their brides away, the bike riders stopped the bride and groom riding an auto on the way. After this, both the brides sat on the bike and fled with cash, jewelry and precious clothes which they had received in the marriage. Then both the youths realized that they have become victims of fraud. After this, they informed the Sarpanch and the Sarpanch informed the police.

Two youths who came from Rajasthan to get married became victims of fraud

In fact, Jagdish Prasad Maurya, son of Dannaram Maurya, resident of Chainpura Dadli village in Sikar district of Rajasthan and Shravan Kumar, son of late Chhaju Ram Kumwat, resident of Panpurna village under Khetri tehsil of Nimka police station district were married to two different brides. This marriage was solemnized in Umapur village on Wednesday night, but on Thursday morning after the marriage, this marriage proved to be fake when the bride absconded with jewellery worth three lakhs and two and a half lakh cash after the marriage. The youths who were cheated said that a person from Umapur village had arranged our marriage with two different girls. According to the Aadhaar of both the girls, their names are Gudiya Kumari and Kamal Singh. The address of both is Akhlakhpur village under Bhabua police station area. The person from Umapur village who had arranged our marriage, got us married to both the girls by building a mandap in his house. The marriage ceremony was done by a pandit from Ramgarh village. In exchange for the marriage, the bride’s side was gifted jewellery worth about Rs 3 lakh, Rs 2.5 lakh in cash, clothes worth Rs 40 thousand and cosmetics worth Rs 15 thousand.

The bride fled with the young man on a bike

The victim told that after the marriage was over, seven people including two grooms and two brides were going to their village in Rajasthan by auto after bidding farewell on Thursday, when some unknown youths riding a bike came near Baitri turn and after beating both the brides, made them sit on the bike and ran away with whatever they had gifted. Then we came to know that we have been cheated. The victim told that there is a suspicion that the auto driver was also involved in this incident, because he was already asking for his fare to go to Deendayal Upadhyay station. Regarding this incident, the victim told his complaint to Sarpanch Sitaram Singh of Sariya Gram Kachhari, after which he informed the police about this incident. In this regard, Additional Police Station Officer Ranjay Kumar said that he has received information about this incident through the Sarpanch. At present, neither the victim’s side has reached the police station nor an application has been received in this matter. Further action will be taken after receiving the application.
