HOUSTON — Texans receiver Stefon Diggs will get his first profession dashing landing off a trick play to erase the Texans’ particular staff blunder and tie the sport at 7-7.

The Texans began the afternoon by respiratory life into the winless Jacksonville Jaguars when huge receiver Steven Sims dropped a punt on the two-yard line and Jaguars’ Daniel Thomas recovered the unfastened ball. One play later, quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw a touchdown pass to wideout Brian Thomas Jr.

Then on third-and-2 from the Jaguars’ six-yard line, Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik known as a trick play the place Diggs acquired the hand off and was going to throw it.

However his supposed goal wasn’t open so Diggs did it himself and bumped into the tip zone untouched for the rating.
