The police have arrested all the accused.
72 vehicles were stolen and unclaimed in the capital Raipur. Police have also arrested 6 thieves in this case. Who used to steal vehicles and sell them in Odisha. Out of these, about 45 vehicles were found abandoned by the police in different parking lots across the city.

According to the information received from Raipur SSP Dr. Lal Ummed Singh in this matter, Azad Chowk police found some boys roaming near Idgah Bhatha trying to sell two-three vehicles. Upon receiving information, the police interrogated the suspects. The accused were named as Roshan Nadar, Neeraj Nayak, Lakesh Tandekar, Janak Tandi, Abhishek Patel and Vicky Tandekar. After strictly interrogating the accused, it was found that the vehicles they had were stolen.

27 vehicles were found from the accused
During interrogation, the police found out that the accused used to steal vehicles from different police station areas of Raipur and sell them in Odisha. Raipur SSP formed a team of 15 people of Anti Crime Unit and sent it to Odisha. Police have recovered 27 stolen vehicles from the accused. Of these, the police has given notice to good people in the case of buying a stolen car. Police have arrested all the 6 accused.
45 abandoned vehicles recovered
Apart from this, the police have recovered 45 two-wheelers from different parking lots and other places in the city. Most of these vehicles were found in Ganj, Maudhapara and Kotwali police station areas. The price of all these 72 vehicles is around Rs 75 lakh.
