The victim’s family had come here from Jharkhand about 7 months ago for labour. Accused Vijay Paswan also lived in a room in the neighbourhood. The accused had already raped the girl a month ago.
The girl had told this to her parents, but due to fear of being defamed, the parents maintained silence and the result was that the accused crossed all limits of brutality as soon as he got the second chance. The accused not only attacked the girl on her face, but also inserted an iron rod in her private parts after the rape. The girl suffered serious internal injuries, due to which her condition is now critical.

The girl was sitting on a tire behind a 5 feet high wall. She was in a blood soaked condition. Govinda and I climbed the wall and reached the girl and handed her over to her mother. Seeing the condition of the girl, the mother also started crying. We immediately took the girl in an auto to a hospital near Wanganiya. From here the girl was shifted to another hospital and then to SSG Hospital in Vadodara.

The accused was roaming in the area after the incident When the incident came to light, the girl’s parents took the name of Vijay Paswan. When the police reached the spot, Vijay Paswan was present in the area. When the police caught him and interrogated him, he confessed to his crime. The accused was living in a room just behind the girl’s room. He is also originally from Jharkhand and has two daughters. Wife and daughters live in Jharkhand.
Tekram and Govinda were the first to reach the girl after hearing her voice.
