Assembly elections are coming very near in Delhi. Along with this, launching of new schemes and political rhetoric is in full swing. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has made a big allegation. Kejriwal has alleged that Delhi CM Atishi may soon be arrested in a “fake case”. At the same time, two departments of Delhi government have raised questions on Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The Women and Child Development Department of Delhi Government has declared the registration started for ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ and the Health and Family Welfare Department for ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’ as illegal.
Former Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said on social media platform X that some people are upset with the government’s announcement of welfare initiatives like Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana. Kejriwal said that he has planned to arrest Atishi ji by creating a fake case in the next few days. Before that, raids will be conducted on senior leaders of “AAP”. Kejriwal said that he will hold a press conference on this today (25 December 2024) at 12 noon.

AAP has announced several welfare schemes for women and the elderly ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections next year. Under Mahila Samman Yojana, on the lines of Maharashtra’s Ladli Brahmin Yojana, eligible women will get Rs 1,000 per month. Kejriwal has promised that if the AAP government is re-elected, this amount will be increased to Rs 2,100. Similarly, Sanjeevani Yojana provides for free health care for Delhi residents aged 60 years and above. The scheme will cover the medical expenses of senior citizens in both government and private hospitals.
Ministers and MLAs got themselves registered by setting up camps in their areas.
Aam Aadmi Party’s CM Mahila Samman Rashi and Sanjeevani Yojana have started the registration process. To register people under both the schemes, AAP government ministers and MLAs are organizing camps at various places along with volunteers. Along with setting up camps in their respective areas, Aam Aadmi Party volunteers are also making announcements through mics. So that everyone can be registered, no one is left out of registration.
