When the girl narrated her entire ordeal to her family members at night, the whole matter reached the police station. In this case, Kabirnagar police station has taken the accused into custody.
According to information received from Kabir Nagar Police, the incident occurred around 5 pm on Tuesday evening. A 5 year old girl was playing on the road in front of her house in a colony in Kabir Nagar area.
The accused lives with his maternal grandmother in the fourth floor of the building of this colony. The accused does painting work. He had evil intentions towards the girl for a long time. The girl used to call him brother.
Meanwhile, family members and local residents have expressed their displeasure over the delay in action.
