Bangladesh Hathras Incident Viral Video Exposed | Hindu Sena Fake News Expose: Video of Hathras accident goes viral with communal claim as being from Bangladesh

A video is going viral on social media. Dead bodies of many women are visible in the video. With this one minute video it is being claimed that it is from Bangladesh.

  • The video was shared on Facebook by many verified and non-verified users, writing that in Bangladesh, women aged between 4 years to 70 years were raped and then killed and thrown away.

A similar tweet related to the viral claim was made by Verified X user Chandresh Shukla. In his tweet, Chandresh wrote – In Bangladesh, women aged between 4 years to 70 years were raped and later killed and thrown away. Don’t you see your mother, sister, daughter in these helpless, unfortunate, helpless women?

A similar tweet was also made from an X account named The Hindu Sena. Here it was written in the caption along with the viral video – Be careful! After watching and reading this video and message, if any Hindu, instead of keeping it to himself, will send it to the mobile phones of 20,50 and maximum 100 Hindus, he will receive the immense blessings of Lord Shri Krishna for helping in the religious work. ,archive tweet)

What is the truth of the viral claim?

To find out the veracity of the claim, we did a reverse image search of the key frames of the video. Investigation revealed that the video which was being said to be from Bangladesh was actually from Hathras. On July 2 this year, a stampede broke out after the satsang of Bhole Baba in Sikandrarau, Hathras. 123 people were killed in this stampede. This video was from that time.

  • It is clear that the video which is being said to be from Bangladesh is actually of the stampede that took place in Hathras on 2 July 2024. The communal claim related to the viral video is completely wrong.
