A senior police officer told PTI, “An officer of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police is investigating the case. We are also conducting a ‘case study’ keeping in mind the road safety aspects. We cannot share any information at this stage.” “This may hinder the investigation.”
‘Lost control of truck’
Truck driver Arif, a resident of Jharkhand, told reporters, “There was a car in front of my truck and the car driver suddenly applied brakes due to which I lost control of my vehicle. At that time I was driving the truck at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour. To save the car, I turned the steering towards the divider on the right side of the road and then I turned the truck to the left, due to which the truck was loaded with steel. “

Police said that the truck driver did not realize that an SUV was buried under his vehicle. Six people of the same family died in this accident. The accident occurred at Nelamangala near Talekere on the outskirts of Bengaluru last Saturday. The family was going to Vijayapura.
