The groundbreaking ceremony of the much awaited Ken-Betwa river linking project may take place in the next 15 days. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has given this information in a press conference in Delhi. CM said-

This month, on 13th December, the one year tenure of our government is completing. To commemorate this occasion, a public welfare campaign will be run from December 11. If the Prime Minister gives time, Ken is going to perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the first phase of Betwa Link Project in this fortnight.
MP-Rajasthan will benefit from Parvati-Chambal-Kalisindh
CM said- MP and Rajasthan have agreed for the Chambal Parvati Kalisindh project pending for 20 years as the interests of both the states are similar. Since this scheme faces difficulties in the political field for a long time, it has to pay its price when politicians from opposite politics form the government. But now being workers of the same party in both Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, we said that the water of Parvati Chambal Kali Sindh goes into Ganga, these are the rivers of Ganga basin.
Has agreed to work on a big plan for us. Madhya Pradesh government has been fighting in the High Court and Supreme Court for a long time. But, we gave the solution that it is not needed. 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh and 13 districts of Rajasthan gave consent. Both the states are making plans for works worth more than Rs 70 thousand crores. Floating Solar Park, IT Park Sondwa have added many such works and programs.
MP budget will be taken to Rs 7.5 lakh crore in 5 years
CM said- India will become the third economy from number five in the world. In order to ensure the participation of the states in this, after the formation of our government, it was decided that our budget of Rs. 3.25 lakh crore should be increased to Rs. 3.5 lakh crore in the first year and in the next five years it will be increased to Rs. 7 lakh crore. There is a plan to increase GDP by keeping it running.
Industry conclave will be held in Shahdol on 16th January
CM said that till now 6 conclaves of Regional Industry Conclave have been held at divisional level in Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa and Narmadapuram. Investment proposals worth Rs. three lakh crore have been received in these conclaves. Regional conclave will be held in Shahdol on 16th January. After this, Global Investors Summit will be held in February.
Madhya Pradesh is fortunate where there is sufficient water and sufficient land bank. In our mining sector, our clean mines were auctioned. In this, the Government of India gave the first prize to Madhya Pradesh. Further efforts are being made to increase the revenue of Rs 10,000 crore to Rs 50,000 crore in 5 years. This year itself we are reaching close to Rs 15 thousand crores.
CM also enumerated these achievements
- In the field of agriculture, work is being done to increase milk production along with productive capacity. Our milk production capacity in the country is 9 percent and efforts are being made to take it to 20 percent in 5 years. Our government will start giving bonus on milk. Along with crop production, we are working on increasing income from milk production.
- CM said that when BJP government was formed in 2003-04, there were a total of 5 medical colleges. And as of today there are 30 medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Within a year, 14 medical colleges are on PPP and 8 are under construction. In the next one and a half years we will reach 50 medical colleges. It has been decided to open 5 Ayurvedic colleges this year. 55 excellence colleges were opened under the new education policy. Bus facility was started for commuting college students.
- An amount of Rs 224 crore was paid to 4800 labor families of Hukum Chand Mill, Indore.
- After coming on Ladli Brahmin Yojana, we increased Rs 250. Opponents used to say that we will stop this scheme. We increased the amount.
- Rewa Airport was inaugurated. Regional air connectivity has been increased. For tourism, local air service was provided in many small sectors like Singrauli, Bhopal, Rewa, Satna. On the advice of doctors and collectors, air ambulance facilities are being provided to the patients of Ayushman Yojana to take them to good hospitals.
- Providing gas tank refilling facility for Rs 450.
- The names of the Vice Chancellors have been changed to Vice Chancellors. Earlier the Maharashtra government had taken this decision.
- Health and medical education were two separate departments, both the departments were united and a minister was given the responsibility.
- There is an ambulance to bring the sick, but if someone dies due to some reason, someone would take them on a cart or by some other means. Our government has decided to provide a hearse to every hospital and make arrangements to transport the dead body respectfully to home.
- Requirement has been sent to PSC and Staff Selection Board for recruitment to one lakh posts. For the first time, 35 percent posts have been reserved for women.
- After Prayagraj, Simhastha is going to be held in Ujjain. Along with building roads for transportation, management will also have to be increased. Adequate amount of water should be available. People come to Kshipra Ji to take bath here but there is no big water source in Kshipra Ji. That water comes from the Himalayas or some glacier. Earlier we were taking bath from Gambhir river and later we were making arrangements by connecting Narmada ji. This time it was decided that rain water would be collected in the pond and water from the same holy river would be available on the banks of Kshipra ji throughout the year.
