When the police checked the CDR of Dalpat’s mobile, it was found that he had talked to a person named Mahesh Narsang Thakor shortly before the accident.

The location of the mobile was also the same where the car was found burnt. After this the police interrogated Narsang ji. The police became suspicious of him due to his evasive answers. Eventually Narsang confessed to the crime. He told that Dalpat Singh is alive. Three more people are involved with him in this entire conspiracy. Their names are Bhima Rajput, Deva Gamar and Suresh Bubadiya. The police have arrested them also.

Conspiracy hatched to avoid debt and get insurance money Narsingh told during interrogation that Dalpat Singh had opened a hotel near the village. Due to this he had incurred a debt of Rs 15 lakh. At the same time, there was a loan of about Rs 2 lakh on the car also. That’s why Dalpat staged his death. This would have saved him from repaying the loan and would also have provided accident insurance of Rs 1 crore and LIC insurance of Rs 26 lakh.

A person from the same village had died four months ago. Dalpat took the help of Narsingh and three other associates in this entire plan. All five knew that four months ago, an elderly village man, Rameshbhai Solanki, was buried in the crematorium. The five took out the body from the grave on the night of 26 December and then placed it on the driving seat of Dalpat’s car and set the car on fire. The police have also investigated the cremation ground where Rameshbhai Solanki was buried. The body is missing from there. At present the main accused Dalpat Singh is absconding and is being searched.
