Electricity Board employees have warned the Board management to restore the services of drivers soon. Joint Action Committee convener Heera Lal Verma said that if the board management does not reinstate the services of the outsourced drivers, such demonstrations will continue at the board headquarters in the coming days.
Electricity board employees are being forced to protest
Heera Lal Verma said that apart from reinstatement of outsourced drivers, the electricity employees are also demanding reinstatement of the old pension scheme for two years. But the government has not yet fulfilled this demand. Talks are going on with officials regarding this. He said that if the pension of the board employees is not restored soon, then there will be a forced movement against this also.

Rajesh Chauhan of Outsource Union said that he has been providing services for 12 to 15 years. Now he has been sent to home. He told that already nominal honorarium was being given to the outsourced drivers. Yet they are being thrown out of their jobs.
