Indian State Pensioners Federation held a state level meeting in Mandi.
Indian State Pensioners Federation Himachal Pradesh has opened a front against the Sukhu government. Around 800 pensioners of the state participated in the state level meeting held in Mandi. He has warned the government of gheraoing the Legislative Assembly if his demands are not met.

State President of Indian Federation Brahmanand said that if the Sukhu government of the state does not release the financial allowances of the pensioners soon, then he will not step back from gheraoing the assembly session. He said that today pensioners are not getting pension on time, arrears including medical allowances are pending for many years.

He said that the Sukhu government has only betrayed the employees and pensioners in the name of OPS. The patience of the pensioners has broken and now all the pensioners will surround the assembly.
He said that pensioners want to get their pension on the first day of the month but half the month passes. Then they are getting pension. Due to which there is a lot of anger among the pensioners. At this stage of his age, he is being forced to protest like this. He said that if the government does not pay attention to the demands of the pensioners soon, then the agitation will intensify further.
