According to comedian Sunil Pal, a young man named Anil called and introduced himself as the director of an event company. Asked to come to an event in Haridwar. Some amount was also transferred for this. On December 2, Sunil Pal reached Delhi from Mumbai by flight. Sunil Pal was kidnapped between Delhi and Meerut. Kidnappers brought Sunil Pal to Meerut. He was blindfolded and kept in Meerut.
On December 3, the miscreants asked for Rs 8 lakh ransom online. After getting the money, the miscreants gave me Rs 20 thousand for the flight ticket. After this he left me in Lalkurti police station area.
With the ransom money, the criminals bought jewelery worth Rs 4 lakh from Akash Ganga Jewelers in Begumpul and jewelery worth Rs 2.25 lakh from Akshit Singhal’s shop in Jawahar Quarter. Bills were made in the name of Sunil Pal at both the places. A copy of Sunil Pal’s Aadhar card and PAN card was also given.

On November 20, Sarthak Chaudhary alias Rikki, Lavi, Akash, Shiva, Arjun, Ankit, Azim, Shubham, and Sabi Uddin went to Delhi in a rented car and Lavi’s Scorpio. These people boarded the Scorpio from Jain Shikanji restaurant on the Delhi border. He was kidnapped and kept in a house in Mohalla Chahshiri of Bijnor.
The auto driver told the way to the mosque Mushtaq Khan told that he was held hostage in Lavi’s house. It was morning after hearing Azaan in the mosque. He gathered courage and came out of the house free from bondage. We met a tempo driver on the way, who told us the way to the mosque. Reached there and people helped me.
Reached my friend’s house in Ghaziabad on 21st November. Reached Mumbai again on 22nd November. The miscreants searched for him in Bijnor for two days. While narrating the incident to the police, Mushtaq had tears in his eyes. SP Bijnor consoled them and said that they will take serious action against the miscreants.
Bijnor police arrested the accused on Sunday and disclosed the case.
