A person present on the Neelkamal boat recorded this video, in which a speedboat is seen colliding.
Neelkamal boat going from Gateway of India to Elephanta in Mumbai, Maharashtra sank in the sea. There were about 85 passengers on board the boat, out of which 2 people have died. 77 people have been rescued. 5 people are missing.
The accident happened near Uran at around 4 pm on Wednesday evening. The boat owner alleges that the boat was hit by a Navy patrol speed boat near Butcher Island in the Arabian Sea while on its way from Mumbai to Elephanta Caves. Due to this the boat filled with water and it sank.

This boat, which left for Elephanta caves from Gateway of India, sank at 4 pm on Wednesday evening.

The passengers were rescued from the water with the help of Coast Guard and Navy boats.

11 Navy boats, 4 helicopters engaged in rescue
According to information, relief and rescue operations are underway with the help of Navy, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Coast Guard, Yellowgate Police Station 3 and local fishing boats.
11 boats of Navy, 3 boats of Marine Police and 1 boat of Coast Guard are present in this area. 4 helicopters are also engaged in the rescue operation. The passengers are being brought back to the Gateway of India.
