Four policemen were injured when a police vehicle overturned in the convoy of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Sunday (December 22). The accident happened near Rohat and Panihari intersection in Pali district. The incident occurred when the driver of the police car tried to avoid hitting a motorcyclist, due to which the vehicle lost control and overturned. Vasundhara Raje was in Bali village of the district to condole the demise of cabinet minister Otram Dewasi’s mother.

The former Chief Minister of Rajasthan posted some pictures after the incident on Went.

She further wrote, “The injured policemen were immediately taken by ambulance to the Government Hospital Bali, where they were given first aid and discharged. I wish them a speedy recovery.”

Pali SP Chuna Ram Jat said, “Seven policemen were in the car. Some of them suffered minor injuries.” When the vehicle overturned, Raje immediately stopped his vehicle and ensured that the injured policemen were taken to Bali Hospital in an ambulance.
