Due to overflow of the canal, about 100 bighas of fields of farmers in Bisanpura village of Daboh area have been flooded. On Monday, Revenue Department staff reached the spot to investigate. Also, the water supply in the canal has been stopped.
It is known that the tail end of the canal is in Bisanpura village. Water is supplied to it from Datia district. After the displeasure of public representatives and officials, the Water Resources Department released water into this canal. This water became so much that due to overflow it filled the fields in Bisanpura village.
Due to this, the wheat sown by the farmers here was completely spoiled. Dainik Bhaskar published this news prominently in Monday’s issue. After this the SDM took cognizance of the matter. He sent Patwari to the spot to assess the damage. SDM Vijay Singh Yadav said that the Agriculture Department has also been instructed to investigate this matter, so that it can be known as to what caused the canal to overflow.
