Jamtara Police has recovered the dead body of a mother of two children hanging from a noose in a suspicious condition. The matter is of Shahrpur village of Narayanpur police station area. As soon as information about the incident was received, a large crowd of nearby villagers gathered at the spot.

The deceased woman has been identified as 26-year-old Sajia Khatoon, wife of Razaul Ansari, resident of Rajwardih Tola of Shahrpur village of the police station area. The deceased woman was the mother of two children. After the incident, Narayanpur police reached the spot and removed the hanging body with the help of a dupatta and sent it to Jamtara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
The woman’s husband works as a laborer in Kerala. Children were playing outside the house. The feet of the woman hanging from the noose are touching the ground. According to family members, there was a fight in the house regarding distribution of paddy. According to the police, a broken glass bangle was lying at the spot. A steel glass pitcher has also been found.
Narayanpur police station in-charge Murad Hasan said that anything related to the case will be known only after the postmortem report comes. Till now the family members have not given application to Narayanpur police station. Action will be taken upon receipt of the application.
