According to SP Dharamraj Meena, on the information of the informer, the accused was arrested with 5 country-made pistols on Friday evening near Mohanaddh Phata on Shakarkhedi-Mavasya Road. During interrogation, the accused revealed that he used to hide other weapons by burying them in the bushes between Shakarkhedi and Signur. Police recovered 10 more country-made pistols and 6 country-made pistols from there in the night. Besides, material for making weapons was also seized.

Accused Mukesh, resident of Signur, already has cases registered against him under Arms Act 2019 in Gogawan police station and in Bhikangaon police station. In the present case, a case has been registered in Bhikangaon police station in 2023 under Section 25(1) Arms Act. The police will present the accused in the court and demand remand. Investigation has also revealed that the accused used to make weapons and hide them in the bushes and then sell them whenever he got the opportunity.
