On Wednesday, an innocent child got seriously burnt after being hit by milk at Mahisauri Chowk in Jamui. The girl has been identified as Bandani Kumari (7), daughter of Bablu Thakur. The father told that in the morning the girl’s mother was heating milk on the stove. After offering milk he went to the bathroom to take a bath.

Accident while removing milk vessel from stove
During this time the milk started boiling. The girl tried to take down the milk vessel from the stove alone, but due to loss of balance the hot milk fell on both her feet. Hearing the girl’s scream, other family members reached the spot.
Both the girl’s legs were burnt
The injured girl was immediately taken to Sadar Hospital. Seeing the serious condition of the girl, after first aid, the doctors referred her to Patna for better treatment. Both the legs of the girl have been badly burnt and her condition remains critical.
