Amritsar Police is now catching those flying kites using Chinese Gattu using drones. The police is first making a video and then calling the parents to the police station and warning them. Police arrested four accused and seized 263 gattu of China Door.

On the instructions of Commissioner Police Amritsar Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, a campaign is being conducted against China Door, under which the team of Police Station Gate Hakim kept an eye on those flying kites from the Chinese Door with the help of drones.

224 Gattu were caught by the CIA staff under Amritsar Police and Gagandeep Singh, resident of Wala, was arrested. Police Station C Division has arrested Yogesh Kumar and Karamjit Singh along with 19 people of China Door. Sadar police station has arrested Pankaj Sharma, a resident of Tarn Taran from Batala Road area, with 20 gattu.

ACP Central Jaspal said that so far around one thousand China Door Guttu have been recovered in different cases in all the police stations of Sub-Division Central Islamabad, Gate Hakima, D-Division and E-Division.
Police officer said that in view of Lohri festival, strictness has been increased at China Door in Amritsar. Action will be taken not only against those who sell but also against those who buy and store.
According to the police, videos are being made on people’s rooftops using drones. The parents of those whose children are flying kites with Chinese string are being called to the police station and then they are being explained and warned by showing a video. For the first time, a warning is being given and if they are caught again, action will be taken against them.
