Delhi Assembly Election 2025: Voting for the 70-member Assembly of the national capital Delhi will be held on February 5. Whereas the votes will be counted three days later on February 8. The Election Commission announced the election dates on Tuesday (January 7). The tenure of Delhi Assembly is ending on 23 February. Meanwhile, after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ramesh Bidhuri, now BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia has also given an objectionable statement against the father of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi. Terming Atishi as ‘Aap-da’, Chandolia said that his father should have been born in Pakistan.
Yogendra Chandolia has attacked Atishi by taking the name of terrorist Afzal Guru. He has said that his father had tried to save Afzal Guru. Therefore he should have been born in Pakistan. A day earlier, Atishi had cried during a press conference while responding to Ramesh Bidhuri’s remarks about her father. The matter of Bidhuri’s statement had not yet settled down but now Chandolia has created a ruckus.
While talking to ‘Aaj Tak’, Yogendra Chandolia said, “Atishi is ‘AAP-DA’ for Arvind Kejriwal.” Meanwhile, on the question of CM getting emotional on Ramesh Bidhuri’s statement, Yogendra Chandolia said, “Atishi may be emotional but why would she be a teacher who signed so that Afzal Guru is not hanged. Why would such a father be needed? He Why was the person born in India, he should have been born in Pakistan.”
Ramesh Bidhuri had given a controversial statement
Let us tell you that recently BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri had given a shameful statement about Atishi. Bidhuri is the BJP candidate against Atishi from Kalkaji. He had said in an election meeting that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has changed her father. She has gone from Marlena to Leo. There was a lot of uproar over his statement, after which he apologized.
CM cried
Atishi cried in front of journalists on Monday on this statement of the BJP leader. Atishi said in a press conference, “BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri is abusing my 80-year-old father. Will you do such dirty politics for the elections? I never thought that the politics of this country could stoop so low.”
CM further said, “I want to tell Ramesh Bidhuri, my father has been a teacher all his life. He has taught thousands of poor children. Now he is 80 years old. He is in such a serious condition that he can even walk without support. Can’t. Ramesh Bidhuri has now reached such a stage that he is abusing an elderly person and asking for votes.”
