The All Backward Class community in Kondagaon has decided to protest against the upcoming visit of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. In the emergency meeting held at the Old Rest House on Sunday, the society protested against giving zero percent reservation in the three-tier Panchayat elections.

In the Chief Minister’s program to be held on Monday, inauguration and bhoomi pujan of several schemes worth Rs 288 crore is proposed. The backward class society has decided not to participate in the program and not to put up any flex or poster to welcome them.

In Kondagaon, all backward class communities will hold a symbolic protest by keeping distance from the upcoming program of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai.
Had also opposed the program of the previous government
In the meeting held under the leadership of District President Ritesh Patel, prominent members of the society said that they will hold a symbolic protest by keeping distance from the program of the head of the government which has abolished their reservation. He told that in the past also the program of the former Chief Minister was opposed.
The fight will continue on the issue of reservation
The leaders of the society made it clear that their fight on the issue of reservation will continue and appealed to all the social people to follow this decision.
