BJP on Thursday appointed election officials in 29 states and union territories. Elections for state party presidents and National Council members are to be held in these states. Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has been given the responsibility of Bihar, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been given the responsibility of Karnataka and Piyush Goyal has been given the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from this, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has been appointed as the Election Officer of Gujarat and Dharmendra Pradhan has been appointed as the Election Officer of Madhya Pradesh. He will conduct elections for BJP state president and National Council members in these states.
