This attack took place when he was campaigning for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was attacked while campaigning in the New Delhi Assembly constituency on Saturday.
Aam Aadmi Party posted a video on X. It was seen that a stone was thrown at Arvind Kejriwal’s car from the crowd, which went over his car. AAP wrote along with the video, “BJP panicked due to fear of defeat, got its goons to attack Arvind Kejriwal ji!!”

AAP alleged, “While campaigning, the goons of BJP candidate Parvesh Verma attacked Arvind Kejriwal ji with bricks and stones and tried to hurt him so that he could not campaign. BJP people, this cowardly attack of yours on Kejriwal ji Don’t be afraid, the people of Delhi will give you a befitting reply.”

On the allegation of attack made by AAP, Parvesh Verma, BJP candidate from New Delhi Assembly seat, said, “Arvind Kejriwal’s car has moved ahead, crushing a BJP worker. The worker (BJP)’s leg is broken and I I am going to Lady Hardinge Medical College to inquire about his well being…this is very shameful.”
AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal is contesting the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections against former BJP MP Parvesh Verma from New Delhi Assembly constituency. The election results will be declared on 8 February.
