Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Congress has made a big announcement regarding unemployed youth in Delhi Assembly elections. Congress has promised to give Rs 8,500 every month for one year to every educated unemployed youth under apprenticeship if it comes to power in Delhi. Congress has promised that if it comes to power in the national capital Delhi, it will give Rs 8,500 for a year to every educated unemployed youth under the ‘Yuva Udaan Scheme’. The party announced this incentive on January 12, ahead of the crucial elections in Delhi in February. Former Deputy CM of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot announced this incentive scheme on Sunday (January 12).

Announcing the incentives, Congress leader Sachin Pilot said, “The people of Delhi are going to elect a new government on February 5…We are going to offer some guarantees for the people of Delhi. Today our party has decided that We will give Rs 8,500 per month to the youth of Delhi who are unemployed for a period of 1 year. We will try to include them in that industry. Have received training.”

He further said, “Today is also the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, who was an inspiration for the youth. The youth are in pain and Delhi is also not untouched by this. The Central and State Governments have not paid attention to their issues. Infrastructure of Delhi Congress It is because of the government that in the last few years we have only seen allegations, Delhi has been neglected.”

During this, Delhi Congress in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin said, “During the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi ji came to Delhi and met the people and even after that he kept meeting the people. Similarly, during the Delhi Nyay Yatra, Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav ji “Established dialogue with the people of Delhi. On the basis of these dialogues it was concluded that the policies of the Central and Delhi Government have broken the back of the youth.”

Nizamuddin said, “Congress understands this problem of the youth, so we have come up with our third guarantee for them. Everyone knows that Congress does what it says.” Earlier on January 6, Congress had announced ‘Pyaari Didi Yojana’ in which it has promised to provide monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 to women if they come to power. The party had announced ‘Jeevan Raksha Yojana’ on January 8, under which it has promised to provide free health insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh to the people of Delhi if voted to power.

Delhi Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on February 5. Whereas the counting of votes will take place on February 8. In the 2015 and 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won 67 and 62 seats respectively. Whereas, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won three seats in 2015 and eight seats in 2020. Whereas Congress could not win even a single seat. This time the contest is going to be triangular between AAP, Congress and BJP.
