This visual is from DPS School located in RKpuram, Delhi. After receiving the threat, the police team reached the school premises on December 17 for investigation.
New information has come to light about the person who made fake bomb threats in 400 schools of Delhi. Delhi Police said on Tuesday that the accused is a 12th class student. His family was in touch with an NGO, which was protesting against the hanging of Afzal Guru.
Police said that our teams tracked the minor after the e-mail received on January 8. The sender of the e-mail was a minor, so the team took possession of his laptop and mobile phone for forensic investigation. However, he was not taken into custody.
In fact, 50 bomb threats were sent to Delhi from May to December 2024. This includes not only schools but also hospitals, airports and airline companies. There have been threats to bomb schools 4 times this month.
After the matter came to light, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said in a press conference that everyone knows that AAP has deep connections with NGOs which had opposed the hanging of Afzal Guru. ‘Tukde-tukde’ slogans were raised on Afzal Guru’s death anniversary in February 2015 and AAP kept that file closed for months. AAP should come forward and answer these questions.

The pictures are from 22nd October. Schools were investigated after bomb threats.
Police said- The name of a political party came up in this case Special Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Madhup Tiwari gave information about this matter in a press conference at the police headquarters. Four important things from the press conference…
- We tracked 400 threatening emails sent by the minor. Also checked his father’s background. He is working with an NGO.
- Investigation revealed that this NGO was associated with the protest against Afzal Guru’s hanging and was also helping a political party.
- The police have not disclosed the name of the political party. The police is now investigating this angle to see if there is someone else behind this child who is getting the mail done.
BJP said- NGOs of the country are poisoning the minds of children. Sudhanshu Trivedi said- Delhi Chief Minister Atishi’s parents had supported the mercy petition of Afzal Guru. A straight line is visible between these two. Are you involved in this? Who are the people of these NGOs and do they have any connection with the Aam Aadmi Party?
I appeal to Arvind Kejriwal to come forward and AAP should clarify what is his relationship with these people. If minors are doing all this, then what kind of poison are such NGOs spreading in the minds of the children of the country? We want a clear answer from you. If he does not give a clear answer, the suspicion will deepen.

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said in a press conference that it should be found out whether the child who made the threat was a pawn in the hands of his parents and the NGO.
AAP’s reply- BJP doing politics on 9 months old matter
On Sudhanshu Trivedi’s allegations, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, BJP is doing politics on the issue of school children being threatened. The first threat was received in May 2024. Now even after almost 9 months, Delhi Police has not given any statement, but BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi is holding a press conference. He is telling stories of different NGOs, he knows everything. There was no investigation for 10 months, but now 15 days before the elections they are telling fabricated stories.
