Udaipur UDA breaks encroachment in Lakhawali
Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) on Saturday took action against encroachment on the land registered in the name of Urban Development Trust, Udaipur in revenue village Lakhawali and running a hotel restaurant by constructing commercial rooms, swimming pool etc.

Commissioner Rahul Jain said that the said construction was stopped earlier and restrictions were imposed not to carry out the construction but even after this the construction was carried out secretly on the spot.
Action was also taken against this encroachment under Section 70 of the Authority Act-2023. Even after this, construction continued at the spot by the encroacher. The encroachment on the land owned by the Authority was removed by the UDA team from the spot today. The area of the said land was approximately 25,000 square feet. The market rate price of the said land is around Rs 2 crore.
The team was accompanied by Tehsildar Dr. Abhinav Sharma, Land Records Inspector Babulal Teli, Patwari Deepak Joshi, Surpal Singh Solanki, Lalit Patel and Home Guard.
