More than hundred families performed ‘Gho Puja’ at Sri Brahadeeswarar temple here on Wednesday on the occasion of ‘Maattu Pongal’.
Members of the families who registered their names with the temple administration were assisted by the temple priests in performing the puja as per the Hindu tradition near the gigantic granite ‘Nandhi’ idol in front of the sanctum sanctorum at the Big Temple complex.
