This two-year-old child was admitted to the hospital 15 days ago due to ill health. The child had cold and high fever. Initially he was also kept on ventilator for five days. In several subsequent tests, the child was found to be positive with the HMPV virus. The child’s health is stable now, there is no need to panic.
