In Himachal Pradesh, a driver of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) committed suicide by swallowing poisonous substance. The deceased recorded a video before dying. In which he has made serious allegations against Regional Manager (RM) Dharampur Vinod. The name of the deceased driver was Sanjay, who was traveling in HRT

In the video, the driver told that RM had withheld his salary for the last four months and he was constantly being threatened with termination. Troubled by these reasons, he took this step. According to sources, many other drivers were also being harassed by the said RM.

Orders for investigation given to DM Mandi- MD
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, HRTC Managing Director (MD) Rohan Chand Thakur said that as soon as he received information about the matter, he has ordered an investigation to the Divisional Manager (DM) Mandi. However, the MD said that the entire matter was not yet in his knowledge. But as soon as the initial information was received, he issued instructions for investigation.
