Countering Prem Kaushal’s statement, MLA Sanjay Ratna said that if he has to become not only a ‘thug’ but also a ‘beggar’ for the development of the people of Jwalamukhi, then he is ready for it. If I have to beg for my people, I will not cheat. The public is my family, it is the duty of the head of the family to see the family happy and to ensure its resources. Even if he commits theft or robbery, it is the responsibility of the head of the family. He said that his only aim is to develop the area and he will do everything possible for his people. “I work for everyone irrespective of caste and religion and will always give priority to the public interest,” he said.
