Seva Week is being celebrated by the Stree Seva Samiti in Lakhimpur Kheri to commemorate the birth anniversary of the 10th Guru of the Sikhs, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. On this occasion, Hawa Prasad langar was organized at the gate of Punjabi Colony today.

Chairperson of Stree Seva Samiti, Nirmal Kaur said that like every year, Seva Saptah has been organized this year too on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Committee members are participating in service work from 31 December 2024 to 6 January 2025.

Committee Secretary Omkar Kaur said that various types of events are organized during this Seva Week, in which bonfire, langar food, tea-snacks and the campaign to supply other things to the needy are prominent. This initiative of the committee is playing an important role in promoting the spirit of brotherhood and service among the local community.
