A surprising case has come to light from Khutar area of Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. After withdrawing Rs 200 from a bank’s ATM, Rs 500 note was being issued. After this, there was a queue to withdraw money. Whoever came there was getting rich by taking out Rs 500 notes instead of Rs 200. This news spread like wildfire in the entire area. After this the bank suffered a loss of more than Rs 5 lakh. After getting information about the matter, the manager of the company which deposited the money in the ATM has filed a report after 15 days. Now the police has started searching for those who withdrew the money.
Actually, in India No. 1 ATM located in Tikuniya of Khutar police station area, the employees had filled 500 rupee notes in the cassette of 200 rupees. This mistake was made by the employees of CMS Info System Limited Company. The company came to know about this mistake when the employees came again for refilling.
FIR lodged with police
Abhay Singh Yadav, resident of Mohalla Bajariya Maulvi Badan Khan of Mau Darwaza police station of Farrukhabad, told that he is a branch manager in CMS Info Systems Limited. His company takes money from different banks and refills it in ATMs. Branch manager Abhay Singh Yadav has lodged a complaint with the police. He told that this mistake was of two custodians – Atul Kumar Singh of Suheli village and Ashish Pandey of Govindpura. The company has demanded recovery from customers who withdraw excess amount from ATM. Police have registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation. According to the station in-charge, those customers who have withdrawn money from the ATM during this period are being identified.
SBI ATM in Badaun started spewing out double the money
Earlier, double the amount of money started being withdrawn from the ATM of SBI Bank in Saidpur town of Badaun, Uttar Pradesh. During this period, in 2 hours, about 100 people withdrew an amount of Rs 4 lakh and the ATM gave them Rs 8 lakh. During this period, the ATM gave Rs 10,000 to the customer who withdrew Rs 5,000.
