In Muktsar, Vigilance Bureau has arrested the registration employee while taking a bribe of Rs 11,000. The accused is posted in Giddarbaha tehsil. Who has been identified as Rajkumar alias Ginni. Vigilance Bureau said that the accused was named Gurdeep Singh.

The complainant told that he had purchased land in village Husnar in the name of his wife. To get this land registered, he went to the Joint Sub-Registrar Office Giddarbaha, where Wasika Navis Rajkumar prepared the registry. After submitting the registry in the Tehsildar office, the accused told that Tehsildar Giddarbaha had demanded a bribe of Rs 11,000 in exchange for the registry.

The bribe amount and registry related documents were recovered from the office drawer of the accused. A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Corruption Act at Vigilance Bureau Range Bathinda. The accused will be produced in the court tomorrow. The case is being investigated.
